Picture Rating Site
With all of the popular “rate my pic” sites for teens and adults, it should come as no surprise that now there are rating sites available for pets too. Similar to other “rate my sites”, a pet picture rating site allows pet lovers to rate their favorite pooch, feline, or other loyal companion.
One well-known pet picture rating site requires pet owners to feature their furry friends in clothing before a snapshot can be uploaded. It doesn’t matter whether you adorn your cat or dog in pants, T-shirt, hat, or vest. As long as they are wearing some type of clothing, they are eligible to participate.
Throughout the year, photos are rated at the pet picture rating site and the top dogs or favorite felines are selected. Just like other rating sites, the animals are categorized by the total number of votes received and the average rating per vote. At the end of the year, the winners are selected. However, instead of just placing the top pet photos on the homepage, they are included in a favorite pets’ calendar for the following year.
Pets are not only judged on their appearance but also on the type of clothing they are wearing. Animals that are dressed in seasonal outfits have a better chance of being chosen for a specific month of the year. For example, many pet owners choose to display their dog wearing a Santa suit, patriotic outfit, or Halloween clothing in order to increase their chances of winning.
Although a pet picture rating site has fewer guidelines and restrictions, it can be just as much fun as a rate my pic site for people. However, one of the few strict requirements is that pets must actually be wearing the displayed clothing. Owners are not allowed to alter pet photos using Photoshop or any other type of image software.
